WalkRound is a site visit reporting application. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the WalkRound website and app.

Information stored by the app

The current individual version stores project and visit information locally on your device or browser. This may include project details, names, actions, RFIs, notes, photographs, floor plans and report content that you choose to enter.

Public web demo

The public browser demo stores any test information you enter locally in that browser. Printing and data export may be disabled in demo mode. You can remove the demo information using the clear-data option or by clearing the site storage in your browser.

No account required

The current version does not require a WalkRound account and does not automatically upload project information to a WalkRound server.

Exports and sharing

When you export a PDF report or JSON backup, you control where it is saved or shared. You are responsible for checking recipients and protecting confidential project information.

Photographs and files

The app only accesses photographs, the camera or files when you choose to add them. These remain part of your locally stored app data unless you export or share them.

Website information

Basic technical information may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser type and request logs.

Support and feedback

If you contact us, we use the information supplied to respond, investigate problems and improve WalkRound. Feedback sent from the app is addressed to support@walkround.app.

Clearing your information

You can remove local app data using the clear-data option or by clearing the website or app storage on your device. Export any required backup first.
